What happens when you're mind is flooded with conflicting, negative, distracting, or looping thoughts? It happens to everyone, and it can cloud our perspective, wear down our energy, and make us wish we could crawl back into bed and wait it out. It happens at work right before an important deadline, in rush hour traffic, or when we are met with a sink full of dirty dishes only an hour after we cooked and cleaned. In today's episode, you'll feel validated, seen, and realize you're part of TEAM NORMAL! We all have moments when what I call, "Gnat Parties" invade our brains. There is something simple that we can do to untangle the thought mess and gain some clarity, composure, and self-compassion so we can move forward. When core values collide with tasks and create conflict in our work, entrepreneurial, business, personal, and relationship goals, we’re left perplexed and stuck. External problems we can see and quantify are fixable, but what about internal conflict? In today’s episode, I’m sharing with you my own experience in leadership when my internal driver, harmony, negatively impacted my leadership and communication in frustrating ways! The most powerful and effective strategies won’t work if we aren’t first aware of our core values and driving forces! Everyone is unique, and when we take the time and attention to understand ourselves, we will be better equipped to effectively work with others and even navigate our own me-me conflict, so our values and drivers fuel our goals, plans, and success with joy.
